Really lovely little bistro on the edge of the park . Good views . I loved the open air roof , fantastic on a hot day, was even offered a sun hat because it was warm ,really nice touch. The food was lovely and filling ,we did manage a cheeky icecream afterwards which was gorgeous ! Served by the lovely kayley who made alot of effort with us and was very friendly. Highly recommend. Best to book before you go to avoid disappointment, we got lucky today .

Such good quality food and the sun was shining so we had an open roof. Felt like we were on holiday in a foreign country. Had the baggie breakfast and anyway eggs and all of it was soo tasty and filling. Ash and Beth were super hosts for our lovely morning. Ideally situated now for a great dog walk. The dogs came in with us and were made very welcome. Got some water and there is a mini dog menu of food!

What a lovely addition to Uppermill! We came for some brunch and were delighted to see the place full and a waiting list to get in. Amazing to show local people supporting local businesses. We ordered the fried chicken kofta and a hot sandwich along with the truffle fries. We were very impressed with the food and the quality of service. It has only been open a month and still a couple of things to improve but over all very happy and wish you all the success!

First time visitor at Grandpa Greene's Bistro. Lovely place with a lovely atmosphere nice and peaceful with low music in the background so you can have a conversation. Staff were helpful and made you feel welcome. Food was really nice too. Only one observation would be to have some signage on the front as we drove round a few times as we couldn't find the place. Please do visit if you are in and around Uppermill.

Popped in for a drink on our walk around Uppermill. Ice Latte and a strawberry milkshake both beautiful. Although we didn't eat on this occasion the food looks amazing and we will be back. Staff were really friendly and outlook over the park just made it perfect a beautiful setting

Really good, service was great and quick. Coffee excellent, as is the food, literally no complaints. Poached eggs were done perfectly, everything we had was delicious. Pricing also reasonable/not over-priced. Atmosphere also nice, felt clean and was kept nice and warm by the heaters.

We went on a Monday and were lucky to get a table without booking so definitely book in advance. I had the beef flat bread and shared the salt and pepper loaded fries. The fries were SO GOOD!!! Definitely a must try. I’ve had both flatbreads now and they were both amazing but I preferred the chicken one over the beef. The milkshakes have lots of flavour too. Overall a great experience and nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they were fab!

Popped in for drinks and we were given such a warm, friendly welcome. The booths were comfortable and it’s great to find a dog friendly cafe in such a lovely location, we’ll be sure to bring our dogs next time. Thanks to the lovely gentleman from Bradford who was attentive and friendly, you made us feel very welcome.
